California-based jewelry designer Elie Frey creates one-of-a-kind pendants that merge traditional craftsmanship with artistry. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted using time-honored techniques—pierce work, delicate soldering, and stone setting precious gemstons with metals
Her creative journey has been shaped by formative apprenticeships with renowned artisans such as Heyoka Merrifield (the personal jeweler to George Harrison and Bob Dylan), as well as celebrated contemporary designer Becky Kelso. Inspired by their mastery, Elie continues the legacy of artisan jewelry making, infusing each pendant with intricate detail and a uniquness of its own.
Elie’s jewelry has been showcased in a variety of distinctive spaces, including Allegorie Winery in Murphys, CA; The Enchantress in Maui; Aurum Jewelry in Jerome, AZ; Night Spa in Los Angeles; as well as at regional festivals throughout Novato and the San Francisco Bay Area.
